About the Role
We are seeking a passionate, curriculum-focused educator to join our team. As an Area School, we offer a unique opportunity to work across various year levels, with a focus on delivering the NCEA framework (up to Level 3).
For candidates with exceptional leadership experience and a vision for the learning area, a Head of Department (HOD) position is available (1–2 MUs, dependent on experience and additional responsibilities).
Our Special Character
Our staff are committed followers of Jesus who value teamwork, cultivate a strong whānau atmosphere, and intentionally develop student character. As a state-integrated school, the successful candidate will:
- Clearly articulate how to immerse students in a Biblical worldview through health and physical education.
- Support the belief that a Christian school is a place where students learn to live in community as taught in the Scriptures.
- Have a willingness and ability to take part in religious instruction appropriate to the School as a condition of appointment. Staff members are expected to maintain and preserve the special character of the school as a condition of employment.

- Curriculum Experts: Strong in teaching and pedagogical knowledge, particularly within the NCEA framework.
- Relational Leaders: Passionate about pastoral care and inspiring young people to strive for excellence.
- Digitally Literate: Able to integrate modern learning tools effectively into the PE and Health context.
- Community Minded: Eager to contribute to the "family" feel of our school.
